TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN INORGANIC CHEMISTRY
The Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University - Newark seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track position in inorganic chemistry. Candidates with research interests in all areas of inorganic chemistry, including catalysis, electronic/magnetic materials, bioinorganic and solid state chemistry are strongly encouraged to apply. While we anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level, exceptional candidates at the associate professor level may be considered. The hire will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program and to teach at both graduate (PhD & MS) and undergraduate levels. A PhD in chemistry, at least two years of postdoctoral experience and an outstanding record of research accomplishments are required. Competitive start-up funds commensurate with the needs of the specific area will be provided. The anticipated starting date is September 2018.
