TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION AT UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON SCHOOL OF PHARMACY
The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Drug Action. The Division is seeking outstanding candidates with research interests that include, but not limited to, cancer biology, neuroscience, pharmacology, toxicology, regenerative biology, molecular genetics, physiology, cell biology, and developmental biology.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or other health sciences doctorate and demonstrate the ability to establish an independent and externally funded research program with strong disease relevance. A minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral research experience in pharmaceutical, biomedical, or related biological sciences is required. Preference will be given to candidates with research interests that complement existing research strengths in the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy, including cancer biology and neuroscience. A commitment to effective teaching in the professional, graduate, and/or undergraduate programs that serve a diverse student body is expected.

Faculty in the Drug Action Core of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division typically have membership and participate in multiple centers and graduate training programs related to their research interests including, but not limited to, the Center for Training in Pharmacology and Drug Development, the UW Carbone Cancer Center, the UW Institute for Clinical and Translation Research, the Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD Program, and the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Graduate Training Program.
