The Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing at Saint Vincent College invites applicants with a Ph.D. in Chemistry or related filed to apply for an Assistant Professor position in the Chemistry Department.  Desired qualifications include a Ph.D. in chemistry with a clear focus on analytical chemistry and a commitment to teaching excellence, scholarly activity and service to students in an ACS-approved department. Post-doctoral research experience would be an asset. Preference will be given to candidates that can contribute to multidisciplinary courses and research such as bioanalytical, forensic, or environmental chemistry. The standard teaching load at Saint Vincent is a 4-4 (24 credit per year) load (At Saint Vincent laboratories count as two-credits toward a faculty members teaching load.)  Course releases and a reduction during the probationary period is available.
