Assistant Professor, Chemistry
Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department, beginning in August 2018.
Principal teaching responsibilities will include Physical Chemistry I and II, both lecture and laboratory courses, along with introductory courses in chemistry. The candidate must be familiar with standards for compliance with all related federal, state and local regulatory guidelines including but not limited to FERPA and Title IX; all faculty must complete a University laboratory safety training program in order to provide a safe learning environment for students in the natural sciences.

Qualified candidates will have an earned doctorate in Chemistry, evidencing a strong background in Physical Chemistry. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and excellent teaching ability. All NDMU faculty members must have facility in teaching across varied course delivery modes, and they must be comfortable with online learning systems. Prior college-level teaching experience is expected.
