Los Alamos National Laboratory is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in science
and engineering on behalf of national security. The Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies, Materials Physics & Applications Division (MPA-CINT) is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral candidate to work on a project that aims to visualize spatial patterns of gene expression in bacterial-fungal interactions.
- Ph.D. in Biophysics, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Physics or an appropriate Engineering discipline within the past five years (or soon to be completed)
- Experience in optical microscopy or spectroscopy, biochemical measurements, cell culture or bioengineering
- Demonstrated record of scientific achievement through publications and presentations
- Ability to conduct independent research
- Experience developing software for image analysis/acquisition desired
