Lecturer in General Chemistry
McDaniel College invites applications for a Lecturer appointment in General Chemistry, to begin August 2018. Review of applications will begin December 1 and continue until the position is filled. The position is a full-time position that qualifies for the appropriate benefits.

The Chemistry Department is well equipped with a 400 MHz NMR, UV-Vis, GC/MS, IR, HPLC, and supporting equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a background in biochemistry or environmental chemistry. They will possess a passion for teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts environment and will have the ability to make the subject matter interesting and relevant to biology, environmental studies, and kinesiology majors, as well as to the traditional chemistry majors that the department educates. The candidate must comply with all related federal, state and local regulatory guidelines including but not limited to FERPA and Title IX.
- Required: ABD or Ph.D. in chemistry or a related discipline, in hand by the start of fall classes.
- Required: College-level teaching experience, which may consist of having held a teaching assistantship.
