Assistant Professor position in Computational/Theoretical Chemistry,
Applications are invited for a tenure track Assistant Professor Position in Computational/Theoretical Chemistry. The Department seeks candidates who are committed to creating a vigorous, competitive, and independent research program in any area of inquiry related to Computational/Theoretical Chemistry. Applications in Materials and Nanoscience and/or Chemical Biology are of particular interest, but exceptional candidates in other areas of theoretical chemistry as well as senior candidates may also be considered.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree, postdoctoral experience, proven research ability, and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong independent research program, work well in a multi-disciplinary collaborative research environment, and develop research expertise that will complement existing strengths within the Department of Chemistry.
