Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Program at Bard College invites applications for a full-time, two-year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin fall 2018.
Responsibilities will include teaching biochemistry, contributing courses to the general and/or organic chemistry sequence, and supervising student research during the academic year and summer.
The position requires a PhD in Chemistry with a background in biochemistry. The successful candidate will have a commitment to quality, innovative undergraduate teaching at a liberal arts college (prior teaching and post-doctoral research experience preferred), evidence of an ongoing program of research activity including research suitable for undergraduates, and an interest in working closely with faculty members across the sciences on issues of research and curriculum development
