ROLE of the POSITION

The successful candidate will develop a rigorous, externally funded research program in bioanalytical chemistry that contributes to the UNLV research and education missions. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to mentor graduate and undergraduate students in a research-intensive environment. The successful applicant will need to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in chemistry, analytical chemistry and bioanalytical chemistry.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a doctorate in chemistry, biochemistry or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university and demonstrated record of scholarly productivity and effective teaching.

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
