Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science
The Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start Fall 2018. Outstanding candidates may be considered at the Associate Professor rank. Research expertise in the broadly defined organic/bioorganic/biomaterials chemistry and materials areas that complements that of current faculty and builds on departmental strengths will be considered. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the area of (bio-)organic chemistry and will support the department’s undergraduate, M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Chemistry and Biomolecular Science. The successful candidate is expected to develop a vigorous, creative, externally funded research program. Candidates must have a PhD with outstanding research potential.
