Two Non-tenure Track Academic Faculty Positions
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC SOP) requests applications for two full-time, 12-month appointment, non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor positions in either the Pharmaceutical or Biomedical Sciences Departments.
Both of these positions will be located on the School of Pharmacy’s Dallas, Texas campus and available May 1st, 2018. Successful candidates for the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences position will teach in pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, medicinal chemistry, and pharmacology and supervise pharmacy compounding laboratory and the Department of Biomedical Sciences position will teach in biochemistry, cell biology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology and supervise the virtual anatomy laboratory. Both positions will aid problem-based learning, engage in scholarly activities, and provide service to TTUHSC SOP. Other duties and responsibilities will be as agreed upon with the Department Chair. These positions will require collaboration with other faculty members at TTUHSC SOP campuses in Amarillo, Lubbock and Abilene.
Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the field related to any of the basic science components of each position. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience and a background in pharmacy or other health science. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered.
