The second position is for a non-tenure track assistant professor of teaching.  A PhD in a chemistry related discipline or an EDD with a MS in a chemistry related discipline is required.  ABD candidates may be considered if the degree will be completed by August 1, 2018.  Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in Bio-Organic or Biochemistry with a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.  Teaching duties will include introductory chemistry courses for science and non-science majors, organic chemistry laboratories, and upper-level biochemistry courses.  Applicants should submit a c.v., transcripts, and a statement of teaching philosophy through Widener’s on-line application system at www.widener.edu/jobs (Req #: F18-0002).  Complete applications received by February 16 are ensured full consideration.

For both positions, three confidential letters of reference, at least one of which speaks directly about teaching experience, should be sent to Arts_and_Sciences@widener.edu. Please be certain all documents are submitted in either .docx or .pdf format.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.
