The College of St. Scholastica invites applications for a tenure-track chemistry faculty position beginning August, 2018. The successful applicant will teach analytical chemistry, as well as other courses based on expertise and department need. Tenure-track faculty are expected to develop an undergraduate research program, participate in faculty committee work, and demonstrate teaching excellence in the classroom and laboratory. This is a full-time, 9-month position. The department values diversity among its faculty, is committed to building a culturally diverse intellectual community, and strongly encourages applications from women and minorities. 

The position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field; expertise in and ability to teach Analytical Chemistry; and evidence of cultural competence and demonstrated success working with diverse populations. College teaching experience is preferred.
