The Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida invites applications for a time-limited, 12-month, full-time, open rank (Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Master Lecturer) non-tenure track renewable position to begin as soon as possible. The appointment is in the area of General Chemistry. Responsibilities related to this position include development and teaching of online chemistry courses. The rank and salary are commensurate with the candidate’s credentials and experience. The salary is competitive and includes a full benefits package. Applicants are expected to have a PhD in Chemistry or a closely-related field, and demonstrable expertise in online course development and teaching at the college level. Prior experience teaching general chemistry lab courses is desirable.
