Assistant Professor of Environmental Science
The Stockton University Environmental Science Program is seeking to fill a tenure track position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, with Forest Ecology, to teach forestry and related courses, as well as continue the implementation of Stockton's unique Forest Management Plan, for September 2019. Preference will be given to those who have a demonstrated past experience actively managing forests on the private, state or federal levels, using the precepts of ecological forest management. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching in the Environmental Science program, as well as in the interdisciplinary General Studies curriculum. Additionally, a commitment to university service and research activity is required.
