The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering at Franciscan University of Steubenville (FUS) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in chemistry to begin August 2019. FUS is an academically excellent and passionately Catholic university in the Franciscan tradition, located 24 miles west of Pittsburgh International Airport. The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent in chemistry or a related discipline at the time of employment.  Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service, and will support the Franciscan Mission of the University. Preference will be given to candidates prepared to teach analytical chemistry lecture and lab courses, and who plan to establish a research program or internship opportunities involving undergraduates in chemical analysis and/or instrumentation.
