Assistant Professor

Washburn University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Biochemistry. Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or ABD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
  • Experience mentoring undergraduate research student(s).

Responsibilities

  • Teaching general chemistry and biochemistry lectures and labs.
  • Mentoring undergraduate research student(s).
  • Directing a research program in biochemistry.
  • Contributing through departmental, university, professional, and/or community service.
