Visiting Professor Chemical Engineering

Position:                     

Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Assistant College Lecturer Non-tenured, full-time

Start Date:                                   

August 2019

Duties:

Teach lower and upper level undergraduate courses in General Engineering and Chemical Engineering; supervise and manage undergraduate instructional laboratories.

Qualifications:

Minimum: MS degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; at least one degree in Chemical Engineering; significant teaching experience.

Preferred: Doctorate in Chemical Engineering or related field; engineering experience in the chemical or related industries; experience in teaching engineering courses; demonstrated proficient in-class communication skills and evidence of ability building rapport with students. Applicants with demonstrated ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of CSU’s academic community will be preferred.
