Job Description:

Wittenberg University, a four-year undergraduate liberal arts and sciences college, invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry beginning in August, 2019. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal up to three years.  Responsibilities include teaching general chemistry, an upper-level inorganic chemistry, and the possibility of teaching a topics class in the candidate's area of expertise.  The opportunity for collaborative research with undergraduates is available. Requirements:

A Ph.D. in chemistry or related field is preferred, and ABD's will be considered.  Some college-level teaching experience is preferred and candidates should have a strong commitment primarily to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting.
