Georgetown College invites application for a Visiting Assistant Professor, anticipated Fall 2019 to teach undergraduate Organic Chemistry as well as lower-division courses. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. The Chemistry Department is ACS-Approved. It has 5 full-time faculty, is well-equipped, and emphasizes close faculty-student interaction. Georgetown College is a private liberal arts institution located about 12 miles north of Lexington, KY. Emphasis is placed on teaching excellence and scholarly inquiry in the context of a church-related college. Through a broad undergraduate program, the curriculum offers a foundation for shaping informed thought and action in order to prepare students for their place in society.
