Job Summary:      

Nine-month full-time position teaching introductory chemistry lectures and labs.

 

Scope:    

One Year Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry.

 

Principal Responsibilities     

Responsibilities include effective teaching in lecture and lab sections of introductory level chemistry courses and other duties as assigned. Anticipated teaching load is 12-15 contact hours per week.

 

Required Skills:    

The applicant must be committed to teaching excellence in undergraduate education and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications:    

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry or closely related field

 

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • PhD in Chemistry or closely related field

 

Appointment Length: 9-months
