The Chemistry and Biochemistry Program at Bard College invites applications for a two-year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in the fall semester of 2019.

The successful candidate may teach courses in general, organic, and advanced chemistry/biochemistry and will supervise student research. Bard College is a highly selective liberal arts college located 90 miles north of New York City on the Hudson River.

Requirements include a PhD in Chemistry, a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts setting (prior teaching experience preferred), evidence of ongoing research activity, and an interest in working closely with faculty members in the sciences on research and curriculum development.
