The appointment will be on UCL Grade 9. The salary range will be £56,266 - £61,181 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
To carry out world-class research and produce high quality publications, or other research outputs, in line with personal objectives agreed in the staff review process •To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum •To engage in a range of knowledge transfer and/or public engagement activities •To take up one or more roles that will assist in the furtherance of the division and/or institution •To be responsible to the Director and Dean for ensuring that activity, whether undertaken on UCL premises or elsewhere, complies with Health & Safety legislation and UCL policy.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an outstanding record of achievement and positive trajectory in the discovery field, with expertise that compliments that already available in the School.
The post-holder’s research interests may include, but are not restricted to, the interface between biological and medicinal chemistry and s(he) will be able to bring a skill set that is relevant not just to our School but also to the drug discovery community within UCL, including the Drug Discovery Group or the Translational Research Office, with whom we collaborate closely.
We are also emphatically seeking a collegiate individual who will work well with colleagues inside and beyond the School and who will also be willing to engage with and contribute to the running of the institution.
