Position Summary:

 

The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Lecturer in Chemistry. This opening is for the 2019-2020 academic year and is a two-year initial appointment subject to subsequent multi-year reappointments without limit.

 

The candidate would be expected to: teach 12 credits of undergraduate chemistry lecture and laboratory courses with particular emphasis on the General Chemistry as well as Analytical and Organic Chemistry Laboratories; contribute to department and University service and to demonstrate currency in their discipline, which may be done by a variety of possible activities.

 

The Department of Chemistry and Physics, which offers an ACS certified degree in chemistry, includes 15 full-time faculty and two and a half support staff and serves approximately 500 undergraduate seeking degrees in chemistry, biology, and medical laboratory science.
