Job Description |
 |
Merck & Co. Inc., established in 1891, is a global research-driven pharmaceutical company dedicated to putting patients first.
Join us and experience our culture first-hand - one of strong ethics & integrity, diversified experiences and a resounding passion for improving human health. As part of our global team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with talented and dedicated colleagues while developing and expanding your career.
The Process Scientist (Adjuvants) will play a key role in day-to-day process support for an adjuvant process. This includes on-floor and in the lab troubleshooting of chemistry and/or engineering related problems, and be responsible for project planning within their discipline. Modeling and characterization of aluminum-containing adjuvants to support consistent quality product supply will be one of the primary responsibilities of the successful candidate. The candidate should have knowledge of physical and analytical chemistry, a sound foundation or degree in engineering and strong practical experience. The candidate will be able to independently and proactively apply their knowledge to the understanding of the process, especially those functions that are critical to ensure consistency in adjuvant structure, properties, mixing and precipitation. They will also be expected to act as a site resource in applying their technical knowledge to projects that involve large scale adjuvant manufacture and characterization.
