Job Description

Position: The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Abilene Christian University invites applications for a tenure-track position in organic chemistry or biochemistry beginning Fall 2010.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. in organic chemistry, biochemistry or related field is required, with post-doctoral experience preferred. Abilene Christian University is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. All qualified applicants for this position must be professing Christians and be active, faithful members of a congregation of the Churches of Christ and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of the university. Responsibilities:Teach undergraduate courses in organic chemistry and/or biochemistry, and other suitable undergraduate chemistry courses. Research and scholarly activity appropriate for an undergraduate department are expected.
