Primary Function: To provide Environmental regulatory and Corporate Standards coordination and oversight to the Beaumont Aniline Plant. The Environmental Coordinator will also implement Environmental Management Systems to improve the performance of the Beaumont Aniline Plant. Brief Job Description: This position reports functionally to the Aniline Enterprise SHE Leader and administratively the Beaumont Plant Manager and is a key member of Beaumont's leadership team. The position works closely with the Aniline Enterprise SHE Manager and is actively connected to Gulf/West Cluster SHE competency teams. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position provides environmental coordination and oversight for the Beaumont Aniline plant • The primary responsibility of this role will focus on environmental regulatory and corporate standards compliance. This position is part of the Beaumont Aniline plant environmental team responsible for providing environmental expertise, compliance guidance, permitting and reporting. Specific duties include: Provide environmental support for the Beaumont Aniline plant with an initial focus on regulatory compliance regarding the Clean Air Act, RCRA, SARA, and Deepwell requirements. Day-to-day guidance of Aniline operating area in complying with regulations and developing systems for long-term compliance. Leading/supporting preparation/negotiation of permit applications. Utilize and/or develop expertise in environmental regulations to lead programs and provide assistance to Aniline projects. Participate as a member of the Gulf-West Cluster Environmental competency teams. Environmental auditing of process areas, participation in 2nd party audits both as an auditor and host. Hosting audits by TCEQ or EPA. Work with Cluster and TCC to provide business advocacy on developing regulations. Represent environmental issues in community interactions/hearings. Maintain site Responsible Care Management System. Maintain site ISO14001 environmental management system Develop knowledge and expertise and improve the Beaumont environmental management systems The Environmental Coordinator will also work with the line organization to ensure the Beaumont Aniline plant is in regulatory compliance and meets expectations of DuPont's SHE standards. Provides consultation and leadership for the Beaumont plant in Environmental matters. Supports performance in SHE core values for operations on the site. Leads continuous improvement for Environmental performance. Collaborates closely with cluster, regional, corporate and business personnel through networks. Working with SHE and Technical Resources from DuPont's Aniline Enterprise and DuET resources as well as site resources at the Beaumont Plant, the Environmental Coordinator will develop and implement programs and procedures for the Beaumont Plant Environmental performance
