Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Hawaii which involves developing new methods for and exploring the mechanism of alkyl and fluoroalkyl cross-coupling reactions. Applicants are expected to have extensive knowledge in handling air-sensitive organometallic complexes as well as in common analytical techniques such as NMR spectroscopy and gas chromatography. Among other expected duties are to characterize new compounds by appropriate methods, assisting graduate and undergraduate researchers in the lab, and reading/writing/discussing scientific papers related to the research projects in the lab.

Requirements
Ph.D. in chemistry or related fields.
