Job Description
Stony Brook University’s Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track position in organic chemistry starting Fall 2010. Appointment at the assistant professor level is expected, but other levels may be considered. Stony Brook’s proximity and unique access to facilities at Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Stony Brook University Medical School make this an ideal opportunity for interdisciplinary research, for example in medical imaging.

Requirements
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field, as well as postdoctoral experience. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in innovative research and have a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
