Required: •M.S. or Ph. D in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemistry plus a minimum of 3 years experience in process chemistry
•Demonstrated ability to function effectively on multidisciplinary teams
•Experience in experimental design, execution, and interpretation •Knowledge of relevant analytical technologies •Willing to work in laboratory, pilot plant, and plant environments •Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences
•Willing to travel (15 - 25%) •Demonstrated understanding of chemical processes at the molecular level Desired: •In-depth knowledge in carbohydrate chemistry
•In-depth knowledge in process chemistry
