Louisiana Tech University invites applications for one or more tenure-track Assistant Professor and one or more full time non tenure-track Instructor/Lecturer positions in Chemistry. Tenure-track hires with expertise in Inorganic Chemistry (broadly defined) are preferred, while the Instructor/Lecturer’s area of expertise is open.

Assistant Professor and Lecturer candidates must have earned Doctorates in Chemistry or a closely related field. The Instructor candidate must have at least a Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field. Instructor/Lecturer candidates with expertise in equipment upkeep, such as NMR and XRD, are especially encouraged to apply. The tenure-track hires will initiate, build, and sustain a strong externally funded research program. Preference will be given to tnure-track applicants whose research expertise and interests align well with one or more of the interdisciplinary research centers. All candidates must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong teaching skills, and display a commitment to high quality professional service and actively participate in college responsibilities.
