The University of Kansas, School of Pharmacy, seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure track) in Medicinal Chemistry to commence in the fall semester (August 2017) or as negotiated. Consideration will be given to applicants in natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry or a closely related field. The position is expected to initiate, organize, maintain and direct a vigorous graduate research program in medicinal chemistry (broadly defined) leading to external grant support and publication in recognized refereed journals in the field of research. The position will teach at the professional and graduate levels and participate in the regular academic and service activities of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry.
