Lecturer, full-time, 9 months, Department of Philosophy, beginning September 2016. We are looking for those with scholarly interests in the History of Modern Philosophy and the Philosophy of Science and a teaching competence in Ethics and the Philosophy of Language. Position requires teaching six courses over three quarters, ranging from the introductory to advanced undergraduate level, including large lecture classes with graduate teaching assistants. We are looking for someone who is an excellent classroom teacher. Salary and benefits competitive. Candidates must have Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in philosophy prior to appointment.
