The Bennett lab in the Department of Chemistry at Tufts University is looking to fill a postdoctoral position in synthetic carbohydrate chemistry. The successful candidates will work on projects that involve developing new reagent-controlled approaches to chemical glycosylation, and the application of these chemistries to the total synthesis of oligosaccharides. For recent examples of the glycosylation methodologies developed in the Bennett lab see: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/ja500410c and http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/anie.201605091/full. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the start of their appointment. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in carbohydrate chemistry, natural products total synthesis, or methodology development. This position is open immediately, with start dates through late 2016 given consideration. Applicants should submit a letter of interest, their CV with publication list, and contact information for three references to firstname.lastname@example.org.
