DIRECTOR OF ANALYTICS-DATA SCIENCE AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE, MIT Technology Review, to lead the development of analytics code and technology solutions while producing reports and establishing performance measures to drive business results. Will oversee all data collection and management, reporting and data visualization, and attribution and funnel metrics while developing BI analytics and KPIs (including LTV, ARPU, and churn) and keeping an eye toward quality and accuracy; provide analytics and reporting of internal dashboard to meet the needs of various business units including data integration Google Analytics and various APIs for social platforms; run queries and analysis supporting key functional areas such as editorial, events, sales and marketing (subscription acquisition and retention, cross-sell initiatives, etc.); use deep understanding of project objectives and available data attributes to translate business requirements into data requirements; manage data warehouse vendor relationship; establish protocols and best practices for dashboard creation and ad-hoc reporting; develop high quality business intelligence KPI reporting and analyses that help drive business revenue; guide the development of database-related software development process, system architecture, design, etc.; and collaborate with business functions to increase analytical knowledge and know-how across various functions.
REQUIRED: solid understanding of continuity marketing, data analysis, web site traffic, relational databases, data mining, and campaign management.
