The Department of Chemistry and Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Campbell University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in chemistry to begin in August 2017.
The primary responsibilities will involve teaching the General Chemistry sequence and upper level lectures and laboratories in the area of expertise. The faculty member will also perform academic advising as well as department, school, and university-wide service and committee work. The successful candidate will conduct research with undergraduate students within the Bachelor of Science programs of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Campbell University is a traditional liberal arts institution comprised of eight colleges and schools with a strong undergraduate General College Curriculum, enrolling 3,200 full-time undergraduate students with an additional 1,600 students enrolled in graduate and professional schools.
Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include health, disability, and retirement plans.
