The successful candidate is expected to make an appropriate contribution to teaching at FAU's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, for example in the form of lectures on electrochemistry and laboratory courses for Bachelor's and Master's students of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Energy Technology, and Sustainable Chemical Technologies. Furthermore, the candidate will be expected to acquire additional third-party funding.
Prerequisites for the position are a university degree, university-level teaching experience, a doctoral degree, and additional academic qualifications. These should be in the form of a Habilitation (post-doctoral thesis) or equivalent academic publications. The necessary qualifications may also have been acquired in a non-university context or through a junior faculty position (e. g. W1 Professor or Assistant Professor).
