Applicants must have 1) a PhD in chemistry or polymers, 2) a record of research accomplishment, as demonstrated by relevant peer-reviewed publications, 3) an ability to teach and mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and 4) strong communication and teamwork skills.
In addition to building an externally funded research program in polymer chemistry, the successful applicant will be expected to direct graduate and undergraduate student research in their area of expertise; teach graduate and undergraduate classes; and contribute to the functioning of the department, college, and university through service on committees, centers, and outreach activities.
