About Hamilton CollegeHamilton College is a small, highly selective liberal arts college located in Upstate New York. The Chemistry Department has seven tenure track positions and graduates approximately fifteen Chemistry majors per year. The department also jointly administers a Biochemistry/Molecular Biology major and a Chemical Physics major. The department is housed in the Taylor Science Center which opened in 2005 and provides excellent facilities for teaching and research. Extensive equipment holdings include a Bruker 500 MHz NMR, a Finnigan LCQ LC/MS and a Jasco CD spectrometer. The College provides generous matching support for grants and also has significant funds to support summer research stipends for undergraduate students.
