Old Dominion University

Old Dominion University is a state-assisted, Carnegie doctoral/research-extensive institution enrolling 24,000 students, including over 6,000 graduate students. The University's main campus is located in Norfolk, one of the cities making up the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, a major seaport and recreation area with a population in excess of 1.5 million people. The region is home to major military installations as well as aeronautics, oceanography, and nuclear physics research facilities are nearby. Currently, Old Dominion University offers 60 master's and 36 doctoral degree programs. The University developed the Innovation Research Park to facilitate partnerships with regional, national, and international businesses and agencies.
