Savannah River National Laboratory

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) serves the nation as the applied research and development laboratory at the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS), SRNL serves the DOE and the nation, helping customers at SRS, throughout DOE, in other federal agencies, across the country and around the world. In 2006, it was further designated as the DOE Office of Environmental Management's "corporate laboratory," applying its unique expertise and applied technology capabilities to reduce technical uncertainties in order to assist DOE sites across the nation in meeting cleanup requirements. SRNL serves the nation in three major areas, National and Homeland Security, Environmental Management, and Energy Security.
