The main campus of The University of West Florida is 1,600 acres of rolling hills and natural woodland along the Escambia River and is located ten miles north of downtown Pensacola, Florida. Its facilities have been designed to complement the natural forest and waterways. Currently, UWF enrolls more than 9,600 students in its College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, and College of Professional Studies. The Chemistry Department offers both Bachelors in Science degrees accredited by the American Chemical Society, and Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry.
