Job Description Summary:
Furman University invites applications for two 1-year visiting assistant professor (non-tenure track) positions in the department of Chemistry to begin August 2017.
The successful candidate must be able to teach introductory chemistry courses for majors and non-majors and courses in inorganic chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in inorganic chemistry for one position, while the other is open. An earned doctorate is required. Though this position has no research expectations, modest funds will be provided along with research laboratory space and the opportunity to engage undergraduate students in research.
