The Department of Chemistry at Sam Houston State University, a member of The Texas State University System, invites applications for a full-time, one-year, non-tenure-track visiting assistant professor position beginning in September 2017. Contingent upon funding, it may be possible to extend the position for a second year. We are looking for a Ph.D. chemist to teach biochemistry, organic chemistry and general chemistry. A master’s degree with 18 graduate hours of chemistry is the minimum requirement for this position.
