Visiting Faculty Position in Chemistry at Reed College

The Chemistry Department invites applications for a one-year visiting position beginning August 2017. Teaching responsibilities will include one semester of analytical and one semester of general chemistry. Teaching duties also include advising senior thesis students in research projects. A PhD is required; postdoctoral or teaching experience is preferred but not required. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and research. The Chemistry Department has excellent resources for innovative teaching and research, including a 400 MHz multinuclear NMR, GC-MS and LC-MS instruments, a laser laboratory, and a TRIGA nuclear reactor research facility.
