Teaching Postdoctoral Scholar

The Department of Chemistry of the University of Nevada, Reno seeks applications for a teaching postdoctoral scholar to begin in August 2017. Duties include teaching at the undergraduate level, including general chemistry, along with supervision of associated laboratories with the help of graduate level teaching assistants.

Required Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Chemistry or closely related field by the time of appointment and teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence of ability in and strong commitment to the following areas: teaching effectively at the introductory levels of general chemistry; developing and implementing new lecture and laboratory curricula; management of an instructional laboratory program.
