The Department of Chemistry at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, seeks a Lecturer to teach in the undergraduate level chemistry program, primarily in general chemistry and/or organic chemistry courses, carrying a teaching load equivalent to 5 courses per academic year. The successful candidate will also be expected to carry service/administrative responsibilities associated with the undergraduate chemistry program. The position is a full-time, 10-month appointment and for a three-year initial term (August 2017 – August 2020). Applicants must have a PhD in Chemistry or a related field with conferral date for the PhD no later than August 1, 2017.
