Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Center Director

The Department of Chemistry is seeking a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Center Director to manage the day-to-day operations of the facility. The Director will be responsible for maintaining all NMR instrumentation, ensuring all users are trained, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintenance of computers and software, managing user accounts and records, providing quarterly reports, identifying funding opportunities for new instruments and upgrades, maintaining a set of basic experiments for user collection of routine spectra, maintaining reservation system and website, managing NMR utilization in lab courses, and training and supervision of the NMR Teaching Assistant.
