The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Crop Protection and Quality Research Unit at the San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Research Center is seeking researchers:
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (mass spectrometrist) for a ONE YEAR APPOINTMENT with possibility for multiple renewals. Ph.D. is required. GS-11/12 salary is commensurate with experience ($ 59,246 - $71,012 per annum) plus benefits. The incumbent will conduct research related to the mass spectrometry of agrochemicals, including nutrients, pesticides, and natural products. Must have experience maintaining mass spectrometers and chromatography systems. Research will be conducted at the USDA-ARS-SJVASC facility in Parlier, California as well as on campus at the University of California, Davis.
