The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Crop Protection and Quality Research Unit at the San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Research Center is seeking researchers:
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (environmental/analytical chemist) for a ONE YEAR APPOINTMENT not to exceed four consecutive years. Ph.D. is required. GS-11/12 salary is commensurate with experience ($ 59,246 - $71,012 per annum) plus benefits. The incumbent will conduct research related to the fate, transport, and biological consequence of chemicals used in agriculture, including pesticides and natural products. Experience with gas- and liquid-chromatography and/or mass spectrometry is required. Experience with invertebrate toxicology is desired. Research will be conducted at the USDA-ARS-SJVASC facility in Parlier, California as well as on campus at the University of California, Davis.
